Religion Kills: Part 8 (Love, Confession and Accountability)

Today was our wrap up of the Religion Kills series. Enjoy.

Awaiting the Heard: An Interview by Travers LaVille

houseBaytown. The city on the bay. Or , as the French say, La city on the bay.  Forged from the very depths of Exxon Mobile , which coincidently provides an impenetrable dome of toxic gas presumably  to ward off  terrorist threat, this costal Mecca for engineers and plant operators alike is attracting a different kind of Heard.

Religion Kills: Part 7 (Confronting the Pharisees)

Ok, so on our second to the last Sunday discussion in the series "Religion Kills", we finally tackled the much anticipated subject of how we synthesize the actions of Jesus when he confronted the pharisees with our own expectations and reactions when we run up against the same reaction to our proclamation of God lifting the ban on the Kingdom of Heaven. Religion Kills: Part 6 (God's Accommodating Love)

Sorry this is so late in showing up. It's been a crazy week. Here is our discussion from last Sunday's topic of God's accommodating love. Our main thesis was taken from the book of 1 Peter, chapter 4, verse 8: "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins." I love the way The Message put it - "Most of all, love each other as if your life depended on it. Love makes up for practically anything."
